Systems of Awareness

In this imagined nocturnal sanctuary, fox guardians stand watch as pollinators trace golden spirals through the air visible pathways of unseen labor and sacred exchange.

A fox sits at the threshold between what is seen and what is still emerging, its attention drawn to a hovering hummingbird moth - a fleeting presence between worlds.

The dreaming figure reflects our profound interconnectedness, showing that we are part of everything that gives rise to the phenomena of life.

Breaking Free is a celebration of transformation — that moment when life lifts itself beyond limitation and color becomes pure emotion.

Pollinator Garden celebrates the vital dance between plants, flowers, and the creatures that sustain them.

This painting captures a moment of abundance — the joyful hum of nature at its most alive.

Bathed in radiant golden light, the landscape unfolds as a living ecosystem alive with movement, color, and interconnection.

This painting celebrates the idea that our homes can become sanctuaries not just for us, but for the ecosystems around us. That growth is transforming.

Color and movement animate the surface, echoing the unseen exchanges that sustain life.

Through luminous color, flowing lines, and rhythmic patterns, the landscape becomes a metaphor for creativity itself

Hidden within the foliage is a subtle eye form, suggesting that awareness may be woven throughout the natural world itself.

Oasis of Awareness explores the landscape as a living network of relationships where plants, animals, geology, atmosphere, and perception participate in an ongoing exchange of energy and information.

Vision Quest became a pivotal work in my Systems of Awareness series and helped establish the visual language I continue to explore: perception, interconnectedness, emergence, and the mystery of consciousness.

Eye Witness explores the boundary between observer and observed.

Creative Emergence explores the idea that creativity does not arise in isolation. It emerges through relationships, interactions, and the accumulation of many small forces working together.

Within a concentrated field of awareness, individual forms gather, overlap, respond, and move together. Each retains its own identity, yet their interactions create patterns and possibilities that none could produce alone.

Eyes of the Beholder explores the shifting relationship between perception and the natural world. Within a landscape alive with color, pattern, and movement, unexpected eyes emerge as moments of awareness, suggesting that seeing is not a one-way act.

Bloom of Perception considers consciousness not as something isolated within us, but as something shaped through relationship, attention, and participation.
