The Heart of My Life’s Work: The Pollinator Garden Series
The Pollinator Garden series is the heart of my life’s work.
In these paintings, pollinators become metaphors for creativity, generosity, and connection — symbols of how ideas, beauty, and care travel from one being to another, quietly shaping the world.
Foxes, birds, dogs, bees, and butterflies move through lush gardens and glowing landscapes, reminding us that all life exists within a shared, living system.
These are not literal depictions of place.
They are emotional and spiritual landscapes — expressions of what it feels like to belong to the earth, to find sanctuary in nature, and to experience joy as a form of resilience.
My Process
Each painting begins with drawing, gold underpainting, and layered oil paint built slowly over time. I work intuitively, allowing color, movement, and emotion to guide the composition.
My goal is not realism, but resonance — to create paintings that feel alive, luminous, and emotionally nourishing.
Collectors often tell me they feel a sense of calm, hope, and joy when living with these works. That is the highest compliment I could receive.
