In Transformation Station, architecture and wilderness meet in joyful partnership. This drawing is from the train trip to Montecito I took in December. the Spanish-style train station rises behind an abundant pollinator garden alive with butterflies, hummingbirds, and spiraling plant forms.
This painting celebrates the idea that our homes can become sanctuaries not just for us, but for the ecosystems around us. That growth is transforming.
The spiral brushstroke weaves throughout the garden a prehistoric symbol of energy and infinity reminding us that pollination is not random. It is a dance. A reciprocal exchange of gifts. A continuous flow of life moving outward and returning again.
Here, color becomes movement.
Movement becomes vitality.
Vitality becomes hope. Hope spring eternal.
