Bloom of Perception explores the moment when attention becomes connection, and connection gives rise to something new.
At the center of the painting, a concentrated area of awareness brings separate elements into relationship. Their interaction does not simply combine what was already there. It generates something larger than either could create alone. Like a flower opening toward light, perception expands through engagement.
Pollinator pathways move through the landscape as visible traces of exchange, carrying energy and possibility from one place to another. A small eye appears almost as a discovery rather than a declaration, suggesting awareness embedded within the living system itself.
Part of my Systems of Awareness series, Bloom of Perception considers consciousness not as something isolated within us, but as something shaped through relationship, attention, and participation.
