Another aspect of my style, is the way I do the drawing stage. I fill sketchbooks with blind and modified contour drawings, then scan them into my computer and create a composition with the sketches that I use as the foundation for my painting.

Some of my favorite subjects, are my succulent garden with agave and aloe plants, and the native wildlife that roams through this area of Southern California. I love painting my two Golden Retrievers, and scenes from the southwest.
