I paint landscapes as living systems of exchange - places where water, geology, plant life, atmosphere, and perception are interconnected through visible and invisible relationships. Inspired by the movement of pollinators and the intelligence of ecosystems, my work explores creativity itself as a form of pollination: an active process of circulation, reciprocity, and transformation.
Through luminous color, rhythmic mark-making, layered patterns, and spiraling forms, I seek to reveal the unseen energies that connect all living things. Rivers echo migration paths, root systems resemble vascular networks, and atmospheric currents mirror the movement of water and thought. The landscape becomes more than a depiction of place - it becomes a visualization of interdependence.
My paintings are rooted in direct observation and emotional experience, yet they move beyond representation toward an awareness of the hidden structures that sustain life. I am interested in how perception shapes reality, and how attention itself can deepen our relationship with the environment. The recurring spiral forms throughout my work reference both natural growth patterns and the pathways of pollinators, symbolizing continuity, resilience, and the exchange of energy between living systems.
At the heart of my work is the belief that resilience emerges through relationship. In ecosystems, abundance is created through cooperation, adaptation, and mutual support. I see creativity functioning in much the same way - as a dynamic network of shared influence, movement, and renewal.
Rather than portraying nature as separate from ourselves, my paintings invite viewers to experience the environment as an interconnected field of living awareness, where every element participates in a larger choreography of exchange and transformation.
