Perched above Catalina’s Two Harbors, the historic Banning House looks out over a landscape that has captivated hearts for generations. In A View Across Time, I wanted to honor both the timeless beauty of this place and the sense of continuity it offers—a reminder that landscapes can hold memory, meaning, and spirit across centuries.
The glowing sky, with its floating golden clouds, illuminates rolling hills, palms, and rugged terrain, while the sea glimmers at the horizon. This scene is not only about what we see today but also about the enduring presence of nature’s grandeur, unchanged in its essence despite the passage of time.
