I have roadrunners in my backyard, and I get a big kick out of watching them. This roadrunner is racing through a desert landscape of plants vibrating with energy. 
I use brush stroke marks as lines of energy to describe movement and as a way to move your eye around a painting. When I paint I listen to music so I feel the rhythm and movement of the sounds work their way into my paintings.
