A vivid scene of the wonder of water in the desert. Life giving and beautiful, it is indeed sweet water in the spring with the pools of vernal ponds and running creeks and streams. I like doing drawings at Botanical gardens and the one outside Scottsdale is a favorite, which is where I spend several days sketching for this painting.
