I saw this view on my last drive out to the Santa Fe and Taos area. It was October and the colors of fall were beautiful! Everything glowed on that trip!
The series of paintings I have been working on of the river and the glow have been keeping me busy since I got back. I love the feeling of a little house, or houses along the river. The feeling of community. The foliage of the river banks is so fun to paint. I work on it over the course of several paintings, so you will see it repeat and evolve in this series of paintings.
